The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator on Microsoft Windows 2000 (MCSA 2000) certification is for IT professionals who implement, manage, and troubleshoot existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows .NET Server platforms. Responsibilities include installing and configuring parts of the systems.
In order to obtain the MCSA certification, individuals are required to pass three core exams and one elective exam that provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise in administering and supporting existing Windows 2000-based systems, including Windows .NET Server.
