| 1Z0-032 Oracle9i Database: Fundamentals II |
The Oracle9i Database: Fundamentals II is one of two exams required for Oracle Certified Associates to advance their certification to Oracle9i DBA Certified Professional.
Are you a guru when it comes to DBA tasks associated with Oracle Net Architecture configuration, listener configuration, names resolution configuration, backup and recovery (including RMAN and its new features), as well as the data transfer methods of Oracle9i? Don't wait until exam day to find out!
Do you know how to configure and maintain complex networks using Oracle networking products, including Oracle Shared Server? There are very few production environments that offer you the chance to experiment with all of the backup and recovery features of Oracle9i. And since the exam focuses on backup and recovery, understanding the different backup strategies and how and when to implement them is key to passing this exam.
You are also expected to be able to troubleshoot different types of failures and use the correct Oracle9i features and functionality to resolve these issues. You may know how to resolve these issues but is it the way Oracle expects you to answer the questions? How well do you know how to use Recovery Manager (RMAN)?
